Clutter

Posted March 20, 2010

Hey,

I'm gonna be adding two new polls today (if I get around to doing it).

Now for my thoughts on Clutter.

But before that, this is for Christian A. My mom said to tell your Mom that what she says is true; that's why my time is moderated too. In her own words, "The Internet is evil" I won't give my opinion on that!

Clutter:

After being nearly mauled by the junk in his own garage, David Parker declares that it's time for a yard sale. Will the Parker family survive parting with their treasures?

First off, Red Hollard. He sounds rather amazing. But he owns the Harlequin? Way-out!

The Parker Family, now that I know more about them, sound rather interesting. Eva (though With pronounces her name, Ava; I don't know why) is such a nice and calm person. I like it when David comes to take her stuff (the remote control and stuff like that), she told him to back off!

The Parker Kids were great; I guess I can get accoustomed to Olivia, but I love Camilla. I also like the line (I forgot which one said it): Dad, can you please send this girl to wherever you picked her up?!, when the two of them were fighting.

We learned a valuable lesson about storing up clutter, and I'm glad everything worked out in the end. So, in short, I give this is 5/5 rating, or 9.5/10.

What are your thoughts?

Wooton!

Posted March 19, 2010

Wooton

Hey!

Wooton, our friendly mailman (who still hasn't delivered my album, because it's probably lost under all that...mail), has written more stuff again! And did you know that his middle name begins with a Z? Wooton Z. Basset...hmm....

During the Valentines season, he said:

...almost everyone got a valentine. Everyone except Miss Ulily Mae Willow. That might not surprise most people because she keeps to herself and doesn't go out much or at least not when anyone's watching. But I've seen her and . . . get this: I think she's a former spy who used to work for the CIA in Russia! A 65-year-old S-P-Y! How else can she get away with no one seeing her or knowing anything about her?

...so I decided to surprise her by making her a card. I wrote:

Miss Willow,
Roses are red, violets are blue
I hope your day is happy
And your top-secret job as a former spy that makes you really good at secrets and keeping away from people
     Is happy, too.
Wooton Z. Bassett

... later...the card had been replaced with a card addressed to me! It said:

Dear Wooton,
Thank you for the lovely card.
You are a silly, silly man.
Miss Willow

I think it's some kind of code. I'll have to investigate. But I hope it means she wants to be my friend.

Boy, Wooton is funny! But what could his middle name be? But for now, I'm off to re-listen to the Inspiration Station!

Marvin (still waiting for his mail) Woooootoooon!!!!!

Wooton not working(Wooton hasn't delivered my mail!!)

Well....

Hey,

1. Why can't I be in Christian's shoes for now?? :( I could use a free plane ticket.

2. Why does Jacob say that he is possibly leaning towards the bad for Album 51? Could it have something to do with the talking portrait in The Jubilee Singers?

If you can answer those questions, please, go ahead! ;)

And I just want to leave you with one question: Do you do or not think that Grady McKay is rude?

PS.: Soon I'll have a new banner!

Woot!

Heya!

Woot for over a thousand visitors! Thanks all. Christian A. said he's in Akron, Ohio...and here I am thinking it might have been Jacob....hmm....

Anywayz, the Ceiling Fan has their latest podcast out, discussing Whit's wait! Oh...and a lot of people are going to get Album 51 ahead of time....but they should have pre-ordered it. 2 people I know have to wait a long time. But a piece of advice: Good things come to those who wait! ;)

Behind-the-scences

Posted March 15, 2010

Hey!

Sooo...we found a snake in our house, I have a headache, and I'm having an online food fight. Just another ordinary day here. And yes, it was a real snake. And no, I do not live in the jungle.

Anywayz...Jacob has his copy of album 51 already! Oh! I really need to get mines, but that depends on my mother...*waits impatiently* At least I can listen to them once a week!

And now, the summary for album 52 is out! Wow!

Mysteries abound in Odyssey as Eugene tries to figure out why the Odyssey clocktower is counting down to a mysterious deadline and Emily Parker unmasks the phantom of the school play. Meanwhile, the crew at Whit's End tries fasting,—with hilarious results—and Wooton tries his hand at a radio show ... with no script!

That will come out in October 2010! Not so far away! And the other summaries for the episodes are out, but go to the Odyssey Scoop and read them for yourself.

And last, but not least, our dear friend Brock recently revealed more exciting information on Album 51 and 52. I never knew that Wooton was taller than Whit! And then this character Alicia is talking with Eugene and Matthew. I wonder if that's for the Jubilee Singers. Or maybe not.

But anyway, is Brock Eastman really just a in charge of production stuff? Or is he a secret spy giving us info we shouldn't know?? ;)

TIS part two

Posted March 13, 2010

Hey,

TIS part two aired today! I just listened to it, and this is what I think.

Connie made me feel so sad at first, but I love the area where all the people told her how much she inspired them. I didn't enter though.

What about the red button?! And why the big deal about the IS? They probably won't use it again, unless they'll be doing tons of stories on Inspiration, which I doubt.

I did like Eva. She sounds so awesome! And I like Matthew. And Mortimer, played by Jess Harnell. Speaking of Jess, I wonder where Wooton is...hmm....

And that's what I think about TIS. In total:

TIS part 1: 8/10

TIS part 2: 9/10

Reviews

Posted March 12, 2010

Hiya!

I didn't come online yesterday, but I'm back now! Jacob posted his review on the Odyssey Scoop about TIS. I read the whole thing, and it's great. I agree with him on just about everything, especially this section:

The only downside is that one new Odyssey character is hitting nerves with me: Olivia Parker. I've shared my perspective on bringing in adult actors to play kid roles in the past. Certainly, it has to be done right or it's unbelievable to listeners. With Olivia, I don't personally think that the voice sounds young enough to begin with. We've got Matthew and Camilla, played by real kids who sound very much like kids. Then you throw in an adult who sounds like she's forcing her voice to sound like a kid's. Here I see a recipe for poor continuity.

Yes, it's true...why? Maybe they'll switch her. And as for Whit drinking coffee, he already has. It was just a phrase used in Hold Up!

In the podcast (I just listened to it), I think Eva has a great voice. She sounds totally wonderful, and Whit is just sliding back in. But what could be the problem? All this will be answered tomorrow!

New Podcast, New Surprise

Posted March 10, 2010

Hello,

It's Marvin again...duh....

Well, the Official Podcast has released another podcast, this time with an interview from Andre Stojka and a special preview of Saturday's episode, The Inspiration Station, Part Two.

Audrey from AIO Insanity said, "Remember blog reader people: when you comment, bloggers know you read their blog, and that makes us all happy inside."

Yeah, that's true...and the other way is to put a hit counter, or polls. Then you know that you know that people visit you.

And on Campbell County, there's a surprise brewing. It has something to do with cookbooks and cookies...hmm....And since I was not included in the behind the scenes, I used my new rule: wait and see. Yeah, that's right. And that made everyone who expected me to want to know more....sorta dissappointed I didn't care.

The Future

Posted March 9, 2010

Hi,

Well, like mentioned on the Odyssey Scoop yesterday, titles are being come up for Album 52. Here are some Jacob used:

A Race Against TimeTime in the BalanceClocked OutCounting the DaysJust in Time and Sooner Than Later.

I myself, personally, will refuse to make speculations...for now. I have a three word method for stuff like that: wait and see. Now if any of you remember my griping on how I was afraid Andre Stojka would make a terrible Whit, that was the past...hehe. Now, I shall wait and see what the new title will be!

Oh, and congratulations to Audrey for reaching 8 comments on her blog! Wowee!
